KidCrusher, Otherley known as Shawn Montague
Born and Raised at the bottom of the world in Adelaide, South Australia
started a rap game in 1996 with several different acts before KidCrusher

from Recording on nothing but a Tape Deck and a Piano Drum Loop freestyles
and home made music videos to entertain him self and his friends

He soon became schooled on how to become a producer on your own pc
THE EASY WAY by his Backyard Wrestling partner StashMan
with drum loops and samples and built in recording studio
using an old school program eJay Hip Hop

but yet still no album releases, but alot of songs and albums
between 2001 and 2004 KidCrusher made several albums
under the name The Chronic Sinner

they were never released to the public
as they were really ruff and raw recordings
KC was not attempting to goto the public with this act
it was just a hobbie that grew on him

this was also during his high school days
attempting to put together a Death Metal Band
doing cover songs of System of a Down, Slipknot, Korn
the band was called Rectal Birth

the first gig lined up for Rectal Birth was the death of the band
as all the members called in sick at the last minute

KC was pissed since he hustled his ass off to get a spot at the show
featuring over two thousand in the audiance
and he didnt want to let the promoter down
so KC jumped out on stage by him self
and performed The Chronic Sinner
for the first time ever

COMMITMENT is a bitch with bands

with KC's interest in both rap and metal
but nobody but him self to commit and create
he continued as The Chronic Sinner off and on until 2004
when he combined his skills in a Horrorcore Rap group
that he put together with his friends called Subterra

this is when KC changed his name to KidCrusher

the group lasted for 2 years releasing two albums
on the internet with royalty free instrumentals

the lack of commitment killed the group
after all the hard work kidcrusher put into creating
Subterra and pushing for that sound he craved
he took all the lyrics he wrote for Subterra
and recorded his first solo album
" Light to Dark and Life to Death "

then releasing his first backyard filmed music video for the single
"A Dirty Fuckin Murder"
KC had the rage to push ever since Subterra broke up
he was finnally finished attempting to put a group together
and put everything he had into this demo and put it up for free download
and KC was not prepared for what happend next

waking up to see his first album received over 40 thousand downloads
causing his cheap ass website host to crash within a few hours of its release
with a truck load of feed back from his music video as well as death threats and hate mail
coming straight from the source of people puting a spotlight on Kid, just to talk shit about him

with all the exposure from the hate, it spreaded his sound and image world wide
and attracted a fan base and people screaming for more

SEEKING METAL and HORRORCORE INSTRUMENTALS
on the internet, KidCrusher found a Recording Studio in Adelaide Australia
selling Instrumentals and Studio Time, KidCrusher was quick to jump in
raising almost two grand to release his first professional album
ten years in the making, the game began

No Distribution, No Record Label
KidCrusher put his own money into project
struggeled to raise the cash to meet his deadline
on June the 6th 2006 the devils album was born


2006 - KidCrusher - Tormented Mutation

with a limited of 100 copies the album sold fast
it was also listed in the top 10 South Australian Releases
right under the Hilltop Hoods


Jumping out on stage KidCrusher spreaded his sound live

after the rush of working in a recording studio
KidCrusher was quick to jump back into another album
and recorded a mixtape of old subterra songs revamped
within a couple of months after Tormented Mutation


2006 - KidCrusher - Light to Dark and Life to Death
Release Date: September 17, 2006



soon after the release of Light to Dark and Life to Death, The recording studio closed
and KidCrusher built his own recording studio with several of his friends
from Local Online Record Store FOCTAM Records

this is the story on how it all began
